Sandy Point is super special! We stayed in unit two & each bedroom & room had its own exit/entrance through double glass doors, which also provided great views when lying in bed or sitting on the couch. We especially loved the fire pit at night to wind down our day. We had full range of the property, including access to sauna, kayaks/paddle board & a dock. Such a special place with lots of wildlife ~ ducks, eagles and otters! It’s about a 15-20 minute walk into town on a paved trail, which we also appreciated. I have stayed in Ely many times and this is by far my favorite place~ great mix of nature/lake views while being close enough to walk/bike into town for a coffee or a meal.

This is a beautiful location, where you can watch the sun rise over a lake on one side of the peninsula and watch it set on the other side. The views were spectacular. We loved sitting by the fire in the evening and having coffee on the patio in the morning. The place is modern and newly redone. Kelly and team were very responsive and helpful.

Location, location, location - within walking distance to everything - restaurants, shops, coffee shop, and a local hiking trail. The apartment was perfect - it had all of the comforts of home and was spacious. Kelly was very responsive and helpful! We highly recommend renting this place - we will definitely rent again!

We stayed here for three nights for the Ely Winter Fest. The accommodation is as advertised and well appointed. Very clean and comfortable. The building itself has a very storied history. Right downtown in an historic building. Walkable to most everything and only a short drive to the International Wolf center as well as some local museums and the Hockey Hall of Fame. Perfect for family and groups, or just for a quiet get away. Our host responded quickly when contacted and was very attentive and accommodating. Thank you. We hope to stay with you again soon. A+
